We’ve been leading with love here for a while.
PFLAG Tampa’s history extends far beyond the meeting room. Over the years, our chapter has supported families, educated community institutions, participated in local civil-rights advocacy, marched at Pride, stood in remembrance, and helped make LGBTQ+ community visible across Tampa Bay.
Love is something we do.
Support
We create spaces where LGBTQ+ people, parents, families, friends and allies can listen, learn, connect, and know they aren’t alone.
Educate
We help families, schools, workplaces, faith communities and organizations build understanding and become more affirming.
Advocate
We show up for a Tampa Bay where LGBTQ+ people are safe, celebrated, empowered and loved.
Community is something we build together.
PFLAG Tampa is creating new ways to connect, preserving local LGBTQ+ stories, rebuilding community programming, and making it easier for people to find their way into the work.
