A gloriously unserious reason to get together. Bring a blanket, bring your people, bring your own garlic bread, or come meet some.
Whether you've been part of PFLAG for years, you're looking for community, or you just really appreciate garlic bread, there's room on the blanket for you.
No speeches. No dress code. No complicated agenda. Just an easy afternoon in the park designed to help people connect.

Drop in for a little while or stay all afternoon.
Tampa, Florida
LGBTQ+ people, parents, families, friends and allies are invited.
This isn't a conference, fundraiser or formal program. It's a reason for good people to find one another, spend an afternoon together and leave a little more connected.
Classic, cheesy, vegan, homemade or frozen-aisle icon. Bring whatever interpretation of garlic bread makes you happy.
A blanket, lawn game, chair, sunscreen, your chosen family, or just yourself.
Come with friends or come ready to make some. There is no expectation that you already know anyone.
RSVP so we have a rough headcount, can send you any important event updates, and can make appropriately irresponsible decisions about the amount of garlic bread involved.
Takes about 20 seconds. We only need the basics.
PFLAG creates a caring, just and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. Here in Tampa, that begins with making it easier to find support, build relationships and know that you belong.
PFLAG supports, educates and advocates for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. Sometimes that work happens in a support meeting. Sometimes it happens through advocacy. And sometimes community starts with a loaf of garlic bread.
